Whose cloud
The bill is a machine rental, and it stops there
About seven dollars a month per region for the media plane, plus whatever your models and your avatar vendor charge per minute. There is no per-minute platform fee on the transport, because there is no platform between you and it.

Regions
A region is a whole machine, not a slice of one
A second region is a second subscription rather than a bigger purchase, and the two are entirely independent. Cancel either without touching the other, and put each one where the conversations actually happen.
- Per region
- one VM, one media server
- Independent
- no shared control, no shared fate
- Yours
- your account, your keys, your region
What you operate
A box, a firewall rule, and a health check
This is the honest cost. The deploy pages say exactly which machine types, which ports and which checks, measured rather than estimated, so the work is known before it is chosen.
